"Morries Meanings"

So this book didn't take to much emotion out of me. A lot of what Morrie points out about life was already apart of my feelings and thoughts on life.

Things that I can compare to would be: Listening to others while they speak, money is not going to be the one thing that makes me happy, in fact it may be at the bottom, I don't buy into materialism, I always find ways to get involved if it means helping someone or something in a way, and I don't necessarily know how to stress on the love in and around my life...but its there!

Now one thing i could work on that Morrie stresses about is taking advantage of life, as in keeping myself busy and devoting myself to creating something that gives me a purpose in life. That part reflected a lot on me, I'm going to try and think about Morrie's advice every day to influence me to try new things, stay busy, and create my purpose!

  1. Good work, I like that you incorporated yourself into this and not just talking in general. I like the 7 steps to happiness, cool picture.

  2. Knowing you both in class, and as the semester has progressed outside of class, I can say you do not buy into materialism. I think Morrie has given us all a little something to take with us, but like you, I am trying to ctreate something that gives me a purpose in life.. I know we will both find it in our own time.

  4. I am impressed that you have such an open view on life. You are accepting and enjoy parts of life that are not on the regular beaten path. I'm glad that this Morrie philosophy is already part of your personal culture. Materialism only erodes the spirit of your soul. Generally, it is an empty path that only leads to a vacant heart and insatiable want. It's good to know you Meghan.

  6. I enjoyed the way you brought together your life philosophy, Morrie's perspective, plus quotes, and photos, to come together as part of your message. Makes it very engaging to read. And the kitten just makes me smile!

I agree with what everyone said here in the comments. I hope you will take a moment and process their words, & how they've noticed that you are someone who has talent and passion and is open enough to share it--even though that means taking risks! Powerful stuff!
